A Minute Roar For Simoncelli

The fans and relatives attended the funeral procession of Marco Simoncelli, on Thursday (10/27/11). Simoncelli was killed in a deadly accident Malaysian GP Sunday (10/23/11).

Pablo Simoncelli, father of the deceased rider Marco Simoncelli, asking for “a minute roar” to commemorate his son at the Valencia MotoGP series next week. “A minute roar” is the opposite of one minute’s silence is usually done to honor someone who died.

“Next week at the Valencia GP, rather than a moment of silence for Marco, I prefer a full roar. All the engines of motorcycles MotoGP, Moto2, and 125 cc per minute and must be on top of her voice sounded simultaneously,” said Pablo Simoncelli, interview with a television program “Domenica Cinque” on Monday (10/30/2011) in Rome.

Marco Simoncelli was killed in the Malaysian GP after getting hit by a motorcycle and run over Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi, two weeks ago. Marco was buried in his hometown of Coriano, Italy.

Pablo Simoncelli said, he felt comforted by the expression of grief from all citizens of Italy and her fans abroad. Feelings of grief from the fans of Marco Simoncelli has helped their family through a difficult time and give comfort.
